School Based Therapy Services

Deer Lakes School District partners with Clarvida, previously called Family Behavioral Resources (FBR), to provide school-based mental health (SBMH) services for outpatient therapy. SBMH services are for students struggling at home or in school with behavioral health concerns. The district provides a confidential space for the therapists to meet with students during the school year and throughout summer break. The billing goes through the family's insurance like any other outpatient mental health provider. This support requires a referral and intake process to get started, which includes questions about insurance to ensure the family's insurance can be accepted. For more information, please contact Clarvida directly at 724-335-9733 or reach out to the District Social Worker, Hannah Mulkern, at 724-265-5310 ext. 3301 or hmulkern@deerlakes.net for more information.
