Middle School celebrates 19 new members in Team Upstanders
Team Upstanders at the Middle School has 19 new members were celebrated during a schoolwide assembly!
Four high school Upstanders represented each class of our Upstanders family - freshman Kelsey Dineff, sophomore Juliet Moore, junior Shaun Bier, and senior Scarlett Hadlum at the assembly.
Scarlett delivered the first ever Team Upstanders senior address, which will now be an annual Team Upstanders tradition. The senior address is delivered to the middle school student body/staff and staff and the senior address discusses the impact that Team Upstanders has had on them and how they live the Team Upstanders message.
Families of the newly inducted Upstanders attended and pinned their child(ren) with the Upstanders pin after taking a pledge to remind Upstanders to be a part of the solution and not part of the problem when it comes to bullying.
The interactive assembly reminded students of the help and support that Team Upstanders represents and highlighted the following message to each member of our school: "Everyone doing their part makes an impact...don't underestimate the difference you make."
