A.W. Beattie Career Center's Roadshow visited our 8th graders who learned about college and career opportunities.

A.W. Beattie was represented by 6 of their 18 programs, including Automotive Collision Technology, Advertising Design, Building Construction, Cosmetology, Early Childhood Education and Sports Medicine. Students from each program introduced basic hands-on skills to 8th grade students while also discussing what they learn in their Career Center program and how it will benefit them in the future.

Deer Lakes students may apply to A.W Beattie to begin attending a program of their choosing, which would start as early as their sophomore year.
